iTeam is a proactive and reactive approach to establishing behavioral, organizational, academic, and social/emotional supports needed for individual students to increase social, emotional and academic success.
One way we support our students is through the problem solving process. Referred students are treated as individuals, with specific challenges and it is essential that both the referring teacher and student are given a voice in problem solving. Therefore, the iTeam develops individualized plans and monitoring to support the student and increase success.
Although there are two teams; Deer Path East and Deer Path West, our goal is to create a unified system so students are supported through the school year and in transition to the next grade. We meet bi-monthly to discuss students of concern, progress monitor students already being problem solved, and develop interventions and plan modifications to establish a pattern of success for each of our students.

The iTeam also supports our students and staff in the classrooms. We actively attend conferences and collaborate on the best way to co-teach, team teach, use small groups, and collaborate with teacher from D67 on how to create the best environment for learning and student growth.
